We lucked out on the Tram ride; apparently Tigers like to nap when it's hot out. It was cooling down on our ride, and this guy went for a stroll. Posted by Picasa

Megan's first day of school!

Well I held it together pretty well as I took my Megan to her first day of kindergarten. I'll admit it; I am one of the sappiest fathers out there. The not so surprising thing is how ready she was to go! She wasn't afraid to leave us, in fact she was way excited.

I guess we have to let them start growing up sometime.

She held my hand while we crossed the street to school, the moment we hit the play ground she pulled loose and ran to her new friends. She was so excited to go! Posted by Picasa

Megan and our neighbor Naomi, luckily they are in the same class! Posted by Picasa

It's official, she has a backpack, and a name tag! She is all grown up! *sobbing* Have fun a school Megan! Posted by Picasa

Megan is starting soccer again. She is on an all girl team, and the coach is full of energy, looks like she will have fun! Posted by Picasa

Kira and the kids come for a visit!

Well what can I say? Kira came down with her kids, Megan and Emily were inseparable. Connor was the bully and spent many an hour in time out, other than that, it was a good mini family reunion, no one died or spent time in jail, I call it a success.

Crazy Cousins! Posted by Picasa

We like to keep them caged up! I love a child's imagination, all they need is a cage and a tong hanging out of their mouth and magically they change into the best barking dog on earth! And of course they won't stop barking! Posted by Picasa

The only in focus shot of the cousins at the beach, of course it's of the cutest boy there! Posted by Picasa

Happy cousins, Emily and Megan say good by after a weeks stay. Posted by Picasa

What is it about a bounce house that instills the happiest times, followed by an hour of screaming, time to get out? Posted by Picasa

The morning after returning from a 3 day trip. I woke Connor up, and he didn't want to let me go. Posted by Picasa

To paint or not to paint, that is the question. Posted by Picasa

Luckiest Man Alive

Yesterday I was the luckiest man alive! My flight was delayed from Madison WI, to Denver CO. My plane landed in Denver at 9:00 pm, and my flight to Ontario CA, was leaving at 9:10 pm. I landed in the B concourse at the end gate 60, and needed to get to the A concourse gate 44. I ran as fast as I could for about 10 feet then walked briskly the remaining distance. I had to take a tram to get to the A concourse. I got to the gate, and starting watching my plane back away from the dock, and I asked the Assistant at the counter to stop the plane so I could get on. Well, he did, I was able to get on and make it home last night. I thanked the pilots for stopping the plane for us. He said, that he has never seen that happen in 15 years of flying.

Come to find out my family was saying the family prayer at that exact time... Megan asked that I make it home in safety. I love the way prayers are answered!

Today started out with French toast, and Megan dressing up Hearty in her pajamas! Posted by Picasa

I caught a lizard for the kids today. Both kids freaked out and were soo excited to see it, I almost cried, of course it was due to my allergies. Posted by Picasa

Megan named the Lizard Spike. She didn't want to let him go, but soon realized that it would miss it's Mom, and then let it go. Posted by Picasa
