At the mouth of the Cave. If you look closely you can see that the lock for the gate is a spider. Megan was afraid to stand by it. 

The cave had a stream running threw it. It was carving it's way through marble, that's the blue you see in this photo. I can't explain how blue it was, and this photo doesn't do it justice.

The trail to Mist Falls was awesome! 4.7 miles one way, or as Jenny calculated on her pedometer, 9,823 steps. The total for the round trip was 18,769. This entire hike was very scenic, we actually hiked part of the John Muir trail to get to the falls.

Mist Falls. There was soo much water coming down any attempt to take a photo resulted in a lens covered with water drops.

We are headed home, and made a stop to see the General Grant Tree. Here are the kids standing inside a hallowed out fallen Sequoia.

Why won't they go to sleep?

Some how these kids convinced us that it was a good idea to play outside before bed... Maybe next time we will stick to our guns and read books.

Hmm, they look like their ready for bed, but they aren't going to sleep. No amount of shaking and spanking would convince them that it's time to sleep.
