Oakley, Utah

This summer we went to Utah for a wedding and family reunion. Oakley is such a beautiful town and I've fallen in love with it. Gorgeous!! And I got to see a moose!!!

Mallory: Mom, can I have a hot dog?
Me: Sorry, the only hot dogs we have are in the freezer.
Mallory: Oooh, a hot dog popsicle?
Me: Um, I don't think you want that.
Mallory: Please, mom, please?

There was a beautiful lady
as cute as cute could be.
Life was good for her
and her 4 little chickadees.

Sometimes she would get lonely
with no Prince Charming by her side.
She longed for a partner in whom
she could always confide.

Then came a blind date with Darin
her cheeks hurt from laughing with him.
He could finish her sentences
And she knew that this wasn't a whim.

He fit into her family just right.
A puzzle piece snuggled just so.
We cheered when they walked down the aisle
and basked in their astonishing glow.
