Wetting the feet after the hike.
Pre-Takopa Falls.
The hike to Tokopa Falls, even the kids thought it was beautiful.
Takopa Falls.
I saved the seeds from this, and planted them in your yard.
Crescent Meadow.

On our hike in Crescent Meadow, we ran into a Cub, and it's mother. Megan was in the lead, and noticed it first. The cub was no less than 15 feet from the trail.
Jon took this one of the cub standing up. I can't believe how lucky we were to almost get eating by these two animals!
Momma Bear and Cub foraging for food.
At the mouth of the Cave. If you look closely you can see that the lock for the gate is a spider. Megan was afraid to stand by it.
The cave had a stream running threw it. It was carving it's way through marble, that's the blue you see in this photo. I can't explain how blue it was, and this photo doesn't do it justice.
Cave formations. If you could see this at all, you would agree that the cave was awesome!
Connor having a fit on the way back to the car from Crystal Cave.
The trail to Mist Falls was awesome! 4.7 miles one way, or as Jenny calculated on her pedometer, 9,823 steps. The total for the round trip was 18,769. This entire hike was very scenic, we actually hiked part of the John Muir trail to get to the falls.
Pre-Mist Falls, this is a mini water fall on our way up to Mist Falls. I may get tired of typing Mist Falls...
Looking down the valley, on the trail to Mist Falls.
Jen and I on the way to Mist falls, we weren't resting, this was strictly a stop for a photo shoot!
Looking up Mist Falls from the middle.
Looking down Mist Falls from the middle of the falls.
Mist Falls. There was soo much water coming down any attempt to take a photo resulted in a lens covered with water drops.
A little trail guard on the way back from Mist Falls. Good thing it had a rattle on it, I would have stepped on it!
We are headed home, and made a stop to see the General Grant Tree. Here are the kids standing inside a hallowed out fallen Sequoia.
Connor is ready for bed.
Megan drew a family portrait, Jenny is holding baby Connor, Megan is in the middle, with Daddy on the right, notice his un-shaven face, and lack of hair.
