Connor is always so involved with his sand castles that I can never get him to look up at the camera.

Arizona Science Center

You might have heard that Arizona is hot during the summer. The word hot is not descriptive enough. I prefer the word scorching. Since you can't play outdoors during the summer you have to think of other creative things to do. Either we were at the pool or indoors somewhere. We decided to buy passes to the science center. Luckily we got the kids to stop and take a picture outside before they melted.

New York

While the kids and I went to CA in July, Daniel was traveling for work. One of his stops was New York. I hope that next time I can go with him because I've never been there.

Daniel's grandfather John Limburg passed away on May 10, 2009. Daniel and I were married by Grandpa Limburg in the San Diego Temple.

We moved to Phoenix!

I haven't updated the blog in a while... And I have a ton more to update, but at least this post catches you up to the girls birthdays, Easter and some photos from the city we will one day call home... I say one day, cause today it still doesn't feel like home - CA has always been Jenny's home, and I've lived there for the last 22 years, so we left family and friends for me to take a job in AZ. I'm sure in a year we will feel differently, but today, we miss our family and we miss our good friends, we miss cold running water; we miss, yes we miss the humidity!

So, as I mentioned a few months back, I started a new job as the National Sales Manager for a Bicycle company - Pivot Cycles and BH Bikes click the links to check them out. I love my job! I work with some really cool people. My boss is great to work with, and I feel like I'm making a difference and helping the company. It's very enjoyable work. Any who - I finally took some time to edit photos and post them up...

Jenny please tell your friend Melissa that I'll be more diligent with future postings...

Mountain biking with the family!

One of the main reasons we chose this house in Phoenix, was that it was close to my work, as well as close to the mountain. We are only 1.2 miles from one of the entrances of South Mountain. South Mountain is the largest city park in the US. It's the entire mountain, and you can ride where ever you want! Take that Sierra Club! Any who - I've always wanted to live close enough to a MTB park that I could leave the house and ride on my bike to the park entrance. Now I can so there are no excuses - other than when it is HOT!

Here we are riding in the gully before we get to the dirt.

Skate Park!

There are tons of places for the kids to do fun things in Phoenix. Skate Parks, Swimming pools, sweating...
Jenny found this skate park and the kids loved it! Connor even tried to take some kids skate board! It starts at a young age...

Easter!

We just moved into our new house, and Jenny right away makes some friends from our ward - they have kids our kids age and they invited us to the park for an Easter Egg Hunt. We obliged, and had a ton of fun too!

Run for the Chocolate ones please!

The Girls get older!

Megan and Mallory's birthdays are only 10 days apart give or take a leap year... So for as long as we can hold out, we are celebrating them together... I know we are cheap parents, but you can blame Jenny for that... Any who, enjoy the photos - and yes, Megan dressed herself for her party saying "it's my Party I can be a slob if I want to..."

Here's the happy one tooth missing grin of Mallory! Now she is three!

Megan would rather rip open every present at the same time - including Mallory's!

Double dose of chocolate for Megan!

Happy Birthday to the Girls!
