Luckiest Man Alive

Yesterday I was the luckiest man alive! My flight was delayed from Madison WI, to Denver CO. My plane landed in Denver at 9:00 pm, and my flight to Ontario CA, was leaving at 9:10 pm. I landed in the B concourse at the end gate 60, and needed to get to the A concourse gate 44. I ran as fast as I could for about 10 feet then walked briskly the remaining distance. I had to take a tram to get to the A concourse. I got to the gate, and starting watching my plane back away from the dock, and I asked the Assistant at the counter to stop the plane so I could get on. Well, he did, I was able to get on and make it home last night. I thanked the pilots for stopping the plane for us. He said, that he has never seen that happen in 15 years of flying.

Come to find out my family was saying the family prayer at that exact time... Megan asked that I make it home in safety. I love the way prayers are answered!

Today started out with French toast, and Megan dressing up Hearty in her pajamas! 

I caught a lizard for the kids today. Both kids freaked out and were soo excited to see it, I almost cried, of course it was due to my allergies. 

Megan named the Lizard Spike. She didn't want to let him go, but soon realized that it would miss it's Mom, and then let it go. 

Last Saturday was Payton's Birthday. Payton is Bill and Tara's (Tara not pictured). Here's Megan trying to not blow the candles out too. 

Payton jumping real high! Bill and Tara just found out they are having TWINS! 

Megan and Jenny just before the show! Such a cute bunch, good thing I went bald after we got married. Had I lost my hair first, who knows what would have happend... 

Megan getting ready for her first, maybe her last dance recital. 

"The sun will come out.. Tomorrow! Bet your bottom dollar, that Tomorrow..." I never understood that lyric. Who cares though, Megan had fun singing and dancing. 

You may not be able to tell from this photo, but Megan almost knew all the steps to each performance. After she was done, she said "Now I don't have to dance any more!" 

Apparently it's a natural instinct to open your mouth when feeding someone food. Jenny and I couldn't stop laughing about it. 

Megan had Sabrina spend the night. They had the most fun. They even found time to play with Connor. 

Connor is almost ready to ride the bike. Hmm, something is wrong with the helmet.
